Carriage Movement Troubleshooting

Carriage Movement

• Check power to the console, control box and Drive.

• Most Drives have a way to manually induce motion, to test the Drive at the unit.

Direct Hydraulic Controls

• Is the hydraulic unit on and connected?

• You should hear It flowing when the joystick is moved if functional.

• Is there pressure coming out of the tank? Is the relief valve stuck open?

Electric Controls to Hydraulic Drive

• Is the hydraulic unit on and connected?

• Is there power to the joystick?

• When you move the joystick, is power being sent to the control box?

• If the control box is receiving a signal, is it sending power to the hydraulic valves?

• If the valves are receiving power, are they opening properly and flowing oil?

Electric Controls to Electric Drive

• Is the electric drive powered?

• Is there power to the joystick?

• When you move the joystick, is power being sent to the control box?

• If the control box is receiving a signal, is it sending power to the Electric Drive?

• If the Electric Drive is receiving signal power, is it responding proportionally?
