RMC Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Linear Probe/Valve controls using RMCTools is fairly simple. Open RMCTools and begin monitoring the movement. If faults are being thrown by the movement, the errors are fairly self explanatory. Try to find reliable steps to reproduce the movement issue, and capture a plot of the system going through those motions. Analyze the point of error, and look at positions before and after.

• No Transducer: Probe is losing connection/power or not reporting position correctly

• Following Error: A linear cylinder is not moving in sync with the other ones in the system

• If a valve is often recieving max voltage (10v) their is an issue with cylinder movement, or the movement accel/speed settings are too high. May need to tune cylinder movement
